EaEU summit to focus on admission of Kyrgyzstan

The main topic of the EaEU summit on May 8 will be the admission of Kyrgyzstan, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman, Yuri Ushakov, TASS reports.

The official reminded that Kyrgyzstan had revised the intergovernment-level protocols in March and proposed amendments, to the surprise of the organization.

The summit will be marked by the signing of two protocols adjusting the agreement on the admission of Kyrgyzstan to the Union. The documents regulate membership rules, trade, customs administration, transport policy and other norms.
