Georgian president speaks against frequent change of defense ministers

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has expressed readiness to meet with Tina Khidashvili, who was fielded for the defense minister's post, though the Constitution does not compel him to, Georgia Online reports.

The president considers the consultations with the candidate a positive process, though he spoke against frequent changes of defense ministers. Margvelashvili reminded that he had been against the dismissal of Defense Minister Irakli Alasania.
