Grozny city residents watch storming of the Reichstag

In Grozny a parade in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory was held. lt started with a performance, reproducing the storming of the Reichstag by the Red Army soldiers.Ramzan Kadyrov spoke at the parade: "The Soviet army cleared our country and Europe from the invaders, and the children of the Chechen people made their contribution, they valiantly fought on all fronts. In recognition of their achievements there was the assignment of the title of Grozny City of Military Glory," Gazeta.ru quotes him as saying.

The event ended with an action of paratroopers, who descended from the skies with the flags of Russia, Chechnya and the Banner of Victory.
