Marhvelashvyly awards veterans of war

President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili arranged a reception today in honor of veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

"I congratulate and bow my head to our veterans. These people fought for their families and the freedom of all mankind. Today we congratulate them. They gave an ability not only to Georgia, but the world to exist as civilized humanity,’’ RIA Novosti cites him.

The Georgian president personally awarded 12 veterans medals of honor and invited them to a festive dinner.
