US-Georgian joint military exercises begin

The joint Georgian-American exercises 'Noble Partner' began today at the Vaziani training ground (near Tbilisi), the Ministry of Defense of Georgia said.It is the first time exercises of this nature have been carried out in Georgia. About 600 Georgian and US military personnel will participate in the 'Noble Partner' exercise.

It is the first time exercises of this nature have been carried out in Georgia. About 600 Georgian and US military personnel will participate in the 'Noble Partner' exercise. 

The US side provided a full range of equipment for the training, including 14 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles and several wheeled-support vehicles for the Noble Partner exercises. 

The training will continue until May 25.
