Russian security chief meets with WWII veterans in Baku

The Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, and the Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Vladimir Gorokhin, have taken part in special events organized at the Russian embassy in Baku for the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Trend reports.

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War partook in the events. Awards of the Russian Security Council were presented.

In his speech, Patrushev emphasized the constructive bilateral relations between Russia and Azerbaijan and noted the role of veterans in the development of the relations.
