Iran receives all its frozen assets
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaIran has received the third and final tranche of its unfrozen assets from foreign banks, according to the intermediate agreement reached on November 24, 2014. In exchange for the relief, Tehran is obliged to limit its nuclear program, TASS reports.
Iran received $7 billion in the first and second tranches and $4.9 billion in the third tranche.
According to different evaluations, Ian has around $100 billion still frozen in foreign banks. They may be unfrozen after the signing of a comprehensive nuclear deal.
