Iranian ships escort humanitarian aid to Yemen

A cargo ship with humanitarian aid for Yemen left the Iranian port of Shahid Rajaee yesterday. Rear Admiral Hossein Azad said that the 34th Flotilla was escorting the ships through the Gulf of Aden and the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait.

Two Iranian destroyers were sent to protect commercial ships from pirate attacks.
