Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a meeting with German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen in Jerusalem that a better deal is needed than the conditions offered in Lausanne, TASS reports.

Netanyahu emphasized that any deal should stipulate Iran's official recognition of Israel's right to existence, according to the PM's statement after the negotiations of Iran and the Group of Six on April 2.

The German defense minister is visiting Israel in light of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries.
