Moscow hosts Heydar Aliyev Cup Mini-Football Tournament

A Heydar Aliyev cup mini-football tournament has been held in the Luzhniki Olympic Complex in Moscow. The event was initiated by the chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR), Leyla Aliyeva.

The tournament brought together 24 teams, 5 from which represented Russian regions. For the first time the team of the Russian-Azerbaijani House of Friendship in Novosibirsk attended the tournament, and became the winner.

The team of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia took the second place. Third place was shared between a team of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia and the team of the Moscow State University of Humanities and Economics.
