Iraqi President to hold talks with leadership of Iran

Iraqi President Fuad Maasum will discuss the fight against the Islamic State group and the situation in the Middle East as a whole with the Iranian leadership. 

Maasum plans to hold talks with Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, President Hassan Rouhani, Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani, and the President of the Expediency Council, Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.

The sides intend to discuss regional security and cooperation in resolving the crisis in Yemen, cross-border cooperation and intensification of trade.
