Armed person detained at Heydar Aliyev International Airport

An armed person was detained at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. According to a spokesman of the Azerbaijan Airlines company (AZAL), Maharram Safarli, the employees of the Aviation Security Administration discovered a Makarov pistol on a man at about 04:30 local time. A charger and 6 ball cartridges also have been taken from him.

After that he was handed over to the Police Department of the Air Transport of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), APA reports.
