Azerbaijan safe from bird flu

The State Veterinary Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture said that none of the blood samples of 27 wild and 2,217 domestic birds taken since May 4 contained any signs of bird flu. No birds infected with bird flu were found on the Apsheron Peninsula, or in the districts of Shabran, Aghjabadi, Lankaran and Salyan, abc.az reports.
