Branch of First Moscow Medical Institute to be opened in Baku

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree yesterday on the establishment of the Baku branch of the Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.

The document reads: "Improvement of medical education in the Republic of Azerbaijan and expansion of ties with prestigious higher medical schools of the world, as well as the desire of Azerbaijani citizens to study in the medical schools of the Russian Federation, made it necessary to create a branch of the famous university in the country."
