Tehran agrees to help Kabul cope with Islamic State

According to the Iranian Ambassador to Kabul, Mohammad Reza Bahrami, Iran is ready to help Afghanistan in the fight against the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS), whose influence in Afghanistan is growing.

He stressed that the Afghan authorities should make an appeal for assistance to the Iranian leadership.

"The Iraqi authorities decided to resort to the same way." Islamic State poses "a significant danger to Kabul, and all other countries in the region," TASS cites Bahrami.
