Karabakh FC become champions of Azerbaijan Cup ahead of schedule

In the last match on the eve of the 34th round of the Topaz Premier League, Karabakh FC became champions of the Azerbaijan Football Cup ahead of schedule.

The new winners of the national championship hosted Sumgait FC at home. The meeting ended with the victory of the home team with a minimum score.

On the same day there was a match between Karabakh and its closest rival Inter with Gabala. It ended in a 1:1 draw.

As a result of these matches, the gap between the teams ranked first and second in the standings is huge, giving Karabakh the championship,  1news.az reports.
