The stronger the family, the stronger the state, says Ilia II

Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II in his sermon dedicated to the Republic Day of Holiness and Strength of the Family, which is being celebrated today, underlined the importance of strong family ties, not only for spouses, but also for the country as a whole.

"As you know, the Day of Holiness and Strength of the Family is established with the blessing of God. I congratulate everybody on this holiday. I would like to remind you that the family is the foundation of humanity and the state. If the family is strong, firm and steadfast, so the state will be the same.
