Erdogan to attend opening ceremony of First European Games

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will arrive in Baku to participate in the opening ceremony of the First European Games, Foreign Minister of TurkeyMevlut Cavusoglu said.

"We are proud of fraternal Azerbaijan. The head of the Turkish state was invited by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to these games and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his desire to take part in the opening ceremony. This time Turkey will take part in this event at the highest level," 1news.az cited him as saying."We are grateful to Azerbaijan for the fact that this country hosts such a prestigious and important sporting event," the minister stressed.
