Turkish automotive workers are on strike

Turkish automotive workers of Tofas venture in Bursa in south of Turkey demanded higher wages in support of Oyak-Renault factory's workers, who are on strike since Friday.

"Labor actions that have occurred in a couple of companies operating in the automotive sector in Bursa have been effective on some workers in our factory. Therefore, company decided to stop production until the dispute is resolved," RIA Novosti cited the company as saying.
