Largest South Caucasian construction exhibition opens in Baku

Baku Expo-Center is opening BakuBuild construction exhibition, the largest construction exhibition in the South Caucasus, Trend reports, citing the regional head of British ITE Group, organizer of the exhibition.

Stroon said that they hold 18 similar exhibitions worldwide and BakuBuild is one of the top five largest ones. Iteca Caspian is a partner of ITE Group and co-organizer of the exhibition.The exhibition manager Rashid Gamidov said that the exhibition covers 10 000 square m. The number of participants of the exhibition increase by 20%, compared with 2009.260 companies from 25 countries, including Azerbaijan, Greece, Poland, Russia, Turkey, are taking part.Iteca Caspian said that BakuBuild holds the UFI quality mark. ITE Group is inviting international companies to the exhibition in Azerbaijan such as EUF (Turkey), GIMA (Germany), ITE Gulf (UAE), International Show srl. (Italy), ITE China (China), ITE Poland (Poland).Over 10 000 specialists will participate in the exhibition.It is supported by Azerbaijani Emergencies Ministry, State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, National Conference of Businessmen Organization and Architect Union.

BakuBuild has 6 collective expositions.The German national stand, organized by the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Technologies and the German association of the exhibition industry, AUMA, and national groups from Finland and Iran have become traditional. Lithuania has a stand for the second year in a row. The national stands of Ukraine and Italy are here for the first time. 35% of the companies are Azerbaijani.

The exhibition demonstrates construction and finishing materials, instruments and equipment. BakuBuild demonstrates new technologies in construction and exclusive products.
The schedule includes presentations, master-classes, a business forum, and a roundtable discussion.

The 8th international Caspian exhibition of furniture, interiors and design, entitled Caspian MebelExpo, will be held from October 20 to 23.  It was organized by the ITE Group and Iteca Caspian. The partners of the autumn exhibitions are Azerfon-Vodafone, Pasha Sigorta, Caspel, Greenwich Travel Club, SIAR and Caucasus Point hotel.
Companies from Azerbaijan, Germany, Iran, Lithuania, Oman, the USA and Turkey are participating in Caspian MebelExpo. The exhibition includes presentations, such as elite waterproof furniture for swimming pools from Spain and the presentation of a new brand of Embawood furniture called "Madeira".
