Head of company responsible for cladding burned apartment building in Baku taken into custody

Mirusif Mahmoudov, the head of Global Construction, the company that cladded the multi-apartment building in the Binagadi District of Baku that had been on fire for four hours today, has been taken into custody, Interfax reports.

16 people have died in the tragedy, 54 were hospitalized, 10 were given aid at the scene.
