Gursu mayor assaulted

Juneyt Yildiz, the mayor of Gursu in the Bursa Province of Turkey, has been gravely wounded by an assassin who ran into his office posing as a security officer. The attacker opened fire on Yildiz and his bodyguard. Both were hospitalized, the assassin escaped, RIA Novosti reports.
