Governor of Armenia's Syunik Province attacked from SMG

Surik Khachatryan, 59, the governor of the Syumik Province of Armenia, has been attacked by unidentified assailants in a car armed with SMGs on the Kapan-Goris road. The governor's car has over 10 bullet holes, according to Sona Truzyan, a spokesman of the Investigative Committee, TASS reports.

The deputy chief of the Main Directorate for Investigation of Priority Cases will visit the scene of the crime. A criminal case was initiated into attempted murder.
