PKK separatists kidnap police officer

Members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have kidnapped two people, including a gendarmerie corporal, in Mezitli and Bostankent (Mus Province, Turkey), RIA Novosti reports.

Turkey and the imprisoned PKK Leader, Abdullah Ocalan, started peace negotiations in October 2012. The conflict of Turkey and PKK has lasted for 35 years and resulted in over 40,000 people killed.
