Azerbaijan preserves visa-issuing at airport only for Turkey and Iran

Azerbaijan has stopped issuing visas for foreign citizens at the airport, except for Turkish, Iranian and CIS citizens, TRT Russia reports.

The head of the social and political affairs department of the office of the Azerbaijani president, Ali Hasanov, said that Turkey and Azerbaijan had earlier signed an agreement concerning the issue.

Entrance to Azerbaijan for citizens of CIS countries remains visa-free.
