Yerevan and Minsk refuse to sign anti-Russian resolution of Eastern Partnership

Armenia and Belarus have refused to sign up to any statement calling Russia's annexation of Ukraine's Crimea peninsula illegal. In this regard, European diplomats have been urgently forced to rewrite a resolution they had prepared.

According to Reuters, one EU diplomat said that the negotiations over the communiqué were not easy, adding that any successful outcome for the summit would depend on how it will be perceived in Moscow.
