Merkel says anti-Russian activity is not purpose of Eastern Partnership

The Eastern Partnership, the main purpose of which is the expansion of cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine, is not aimed against Russia, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said today.

"The Eastern Partnership is not aimed against anyone, especially not against Russia," TASS cited her as saying.
