Mammadyarov: bilateral format of cooperation with EU is useful for Azerbaijan

At a meeting of the General Assembly and the Board of Directors of the International Fund for Cooperation and Partnership of the Black Sea and Caspian Sea (BSCSIF), Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov  said that a relationship of alignment with the EU on a bilateral basis is the most convenient format for Azerbaijan.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Azerbaijan has a different vision of relations with the EU – through the prism of bilateral relations. "Azerbaijan has close relations with almost all EU member states. The other day, I presented a new project in Riga, a partnership agreement with the EU, management of the organization. It is a question of equal and mutually beneficial cooperation," Trend news agency quotes Mammadyarov as saying.
