Protest against terrorism to be held in Saudi Arabia

Mass protests against terrorism will be held today in El Katyf in Saudi Arabia, as well as in other towns of the eastern provinces of the country.

On the eve of Friday prayers at a Shiite mosque in the village of Imam Ali Al-Kodeyh in El Katyf an explosion occurred, which killed 21 and injured more than a hundred people. 12 of the injured are in a critical condition.  The terrorist group Islamic State took responsibility for the act.

Immediately after the explosion the residents of El Kodeyha organized a spontaneous protest, during which the responsibility for the failure in the security system in the Eastern Province, where there is a Shiite minority, was assigned to the Saudi authorities.
