Abe Shindzo to visit Chernobyl

In early July during his visit to Ukraine, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is considering an opportunity to visit the site of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

The head of the Japanese government hopes to visit Ukraine on his way to Germany, where he is to participate in the G7 summit, which is to take place on June 7-8 in Bavaria. 

According to the local media, during his visit Abe may visit Chernobyl, the site of the terrible tragedy 29 years ago, Tass reports.
