Russian agricultural ministry assesses damages from drought

According to the Agricultural Ministry of Russia, the direct damage caused by this summer's drought  is 41.6 billion rubles. 25,035,000 farms were damaged in 893 districts of 43 regions of the Russian Federation. 13.3 million hectares suffered crop loss, i.e. 30% of planted areas, Yuga.ru reports, citing RBC.
