Russia to check foreign religious organizations
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaA commission of the Moscow City Council has considered proposals on unscheduled check ups on religious organizations financed by foreigners, according to the federal law on freedom of conscience and religious associations, TASS reports.
Anton Pavel, the head of the Moscow City Council commission on public and religious associations, clarified that religious organizations will be put under strict control, to make sure they are not involved in extremism.
