Sevastopol beaches yet to be assessed by Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaSevastopol's beaches have not undergone a checkup by the Russian Ministry of Emergencies, according to Miroslav Sagaydak, the head of the office for civil protection. 16 bids for an inspection have been filed, but beaches keep postponing them due to unreadiness, TASS reports.
Sevastopol Governor Sergey Menyaylo demanded that no postponements be made.
Oleg Kazurin, the head of the department for municipal services, added that beaches were only 80% prepared for the season, although their beautification was constant.
