Serbia can join gas project with participation of Azerbaijan

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic told Associated Press today that Belgrade is ready to diversify gas sources.According to him, Serbia will accept US calls to join an American-backed pipeline which would bring gas to Europe from Azerbaijan."Regarding energy safety, energy security, we are ready to diversify the sources of gas for Serbia, which is very important for our American friends as well," Vucic noted."We hope that the US will support our EU way and they'll also support our economic reforms. On the other hand, we would like to preserve good relations with Russia," he noted."It's not about balancing, our strategic goal is the EU path," Vucic said.
