Russian chief boxing coach emphasizes importance of First European Games

He thanked the Russian Olympic Committee for providing all the necessary conditions for training.
Lebznyak called the Azerbaijani team a very challenging opponent, possibly one of the main competitors at the Games.
According to the coach, the Russian team plans to win two gold, one silver and one bronze medal. He predicts complicated fights. Lebznyak considers English and Ukrainian teams very strong.
The chief coach said that the North Caucasus boasted such notable Olympic, world and European champions as Gaydarbek Gaydarbakov, Nurmagomed Shanavazov, Timur Gaydalov and Artur Beterbiyev. Russia will be represented at the I European Games in Baku by Gasan Gimbatov and Adlan Abdurashidov. According to Lebzyak, most of the boxers come from the Urals, Siberia and the North Caucasus.
