The Russian Cabinet has given the go-ahead to simplification of the migration regime for Kyrgyzstan. The new rules now need Russian President Vladimir Putin's approval, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the new initiative, Kyrgyz migrants will be free from registering in Russia for 30 days from their arrival. The arrival date will be verified in a migration card marked by the border guards.
