Water quality improved considerably in Sevan, Armenian Ministry of Environment reports

The quality of water in Lake Sevan  noticeably increased in 2014, Armenia's First Deputy Minister of Environment, Simon Papian, said yesterday during parliament hearings into the implementation of Armenia's state budget for 2014.

 

"The transparency of the water has risen, with an increased level of the lake's recovery," he added. According to monitoring held in 2014, Lake Sevan can be seen to a depth of 11-12 meters, media resource NEWS.am reports.
