Putin: Russia ready to cooperate with FIFA

A spokesman for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that Vladimir Putin sent a telegram to Joseph Blatter, in which he congratulated him on his re-election as FIFA president.

"The president reiterated that Russia is interested and willing to cooperate with FIFA in general and in preparations for the 2018 World Cup in Russia in particular,’’ RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
