State of emergency in Zolskiy district

The Head of Administration of the Zolskiy district of Kabardino-Balkaria said today that during the day the situation with river floods has only worsened, and now the area is in a state of emergency: 6 out of 19 settlements of the municipality are in a disaster zone.

"Three bridges on regional roads have been completely destroyed, including the one leading to the village of Habasit. No gas is left in 110 households," TASS quotes him as saying. The village of Zalukokoazhe was left without water due to a blur of the protective dam's intake. In the village of Kichmalke 50 homes are still flooded, 200 in the village of Shordakovo.
