Blatter leaves president's post in FIFA

FIFA president Sepp Blatter has resigned. In his words, the organization needs restructuring. He decided to create a special congress to elect a successor, RIA Novosti reports.

Blatter had been heading FIFA since 1998. He was re-elected for the fifth term on May 29.
