Austria wants to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan

The Vice-Minister for Foreign Economic Policy and European Integration in the Federal Ministry of Economy, Bernadette Gierlinger, said at the Azerbaijani-Austrian business forum that Austria is interested in increasing trade turnover with Azerbaijan.

Gierlinger drew attention to the fact that the expansion of relations with Azerbaijan is very important for Austria. According to her, the main directions of cooperation between the countries are the spheres of information technology, alternative and renewable energy, as well as tourism and agriculture.

She also spoke about plans to increase the number of Austrian companies in Azerbaijan.
