Lavrov: delivery of S-300 to Iran due soon

The delivery of Russia’s S-300 air defense system to Iran is due soon, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said following talks with his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif.

Lavrov said that the theme of the S-300 systems was not discussed in detail. "We merely stated that preparations for the delivery are under way and the deal will be effected soon," TASS cited Lavrov as saying.
