Prisoners go on hunger strike in Rustavi

According to the head of the organization Former Political Prisoners for Human Rights, Nana Kakabadze, two inmates in Prison №17 in the city of Rustavi have gone on hunger strike.

According to her, Nugzar Usoyan is protesting that his letter with information about the appeal of his criminal case was not sent by the officers to the court on time. At the time of delivery to the addressee, the term of appeal of the case had already expired. In this regard, the prisoner asks for its extension.
