G7 summit to start working in Bavarian Alps
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe summit of the Group of Seven (G7) began work today in Germany, at Elmau Castle in the Bavarian Alps south of Munich.
At the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, US President Barack Obama, French President Francois Hollande, Prime Ministers of Great Britain David Cameron, of Italy Matteo Renzi, of Canada Stephen Harper, and of Japan Sindzo Abe attended, TASS reports.
The EU institutions will be represented by the Presidents of the European Commission (EC), Jean-Claude Juncker, and the European Council, Donald Tusk.
The leaders of the participating countries of the G7 will also meet representatives of Ethiopia, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia, South Africa and Iraq.
