Red Bus Bakubus to replace urban transport in Baku

VECO buses owned by Bakubus will replace the current metropolitan public transport in the Azerbaijani capital from July, deputy director Vusal Kerimli reported.

During the European Games, the bus company will operate as an express service for events related to games delegations and spectators. "From July, the buses will be delivered for use on city routes passing through the main areas of the city," V.Kerimli  said, abc.az reports.

Currently, the Bakubus autopark has 300 buses, but in the future, after the capital's transport research and refinement of requirements, the company's autopark will be expanded.
