‘Union of Active Citizens’ to start working in Krasnodar

In Krasnodar the environmental and social human rights movement ‘Union of Active Citizens’ was created. 

"A movement was created dedicated to World Environment Day. The movement brought together representatives of the initiative groups of residents of Krasnodar and NGOs operating in the city who are concerned about the rapidly deteriorating quality of the environment as a result of mass character of the instances in the capital of Kuban of destruction of green areas, sealing of buildings, seizure of banks of reservoirs and water areas. Also, the people united in the ‘’Union of Active Citizens’’ are concerned about the catastrophic shortage of social infrastructure facilities in the city, poor quality, issues  of improvement of facilities, that do not meet the interests of the population's improvement, and acute transport problems,"  the public organization 'Environmental Watch on North Caucasus' says, portal YUGA reports.
