Davutoglu calls on all parties to work out a new constitution
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaCommenting on the results of the Turkish parliamentary elections, Prime Minister and the chairman of the Justice and Development Party, Ahmet Davutoglu, said during a speech in Ankara that his party would not abandon its plans to develop a new constitution.
According to the preliminary results, the Justice and Development Party lost its status as the ruling party and will be forced to form a coalition with other political forces to form a government.
"The nation's decision is the best decision. We will take all necessary measures to prevent harm to Turkey's political stability," TASS cited him as saying.
"Let's take action for a new constitution based on freedoms and human dignity to prepare the youth for the future. We are open to any ideas and suggestions. No power will break the nation's decision," the prime minister said.
