Margvelashvili: people of Georgia want to join NATO

The expansion of cooperation with NATO and the accession of Georgia to the alliance were chosen by the people of the country, President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili said during a meeting with participants of the annual Strategic Military Partner Conference in Tbilisi.

"We are not only developing our military infrastructure and our democratic institutions, but the Georgian military are protecting the values which we have defended for many years, and many people have dedicated their lives to this," Interfax cited Margvelashvili as saying.
