US Embassy in Tbilisi lowers flag in honor of Ramaz Davitaia

The US Embassy lowered its flag to half-mast in honor of fallen Georgian Corporal Ramaz Davitaia.

"I was deeply saddened to learn today of the passing of Corporal Ramaz Davitaia. Since his return from medical treatment at a US facility in Germany, my wife and I were honored to have the opportunity to spend time with him. I extend the deepest condolences to Corporal Davitaia’s family, friends and fellow soldiers," Georgia Online cited US Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland as saying.
