267 people seek medical aid in North Ossetia

A spokesman of the Russian Healthcare Ministry, Oleg Salagay, said that 267 people with acute intestinal infection have asked for medical aid in North Ossetia, 143 of them were children, RIA Novosti reports.


186 people, including 114 children, were hospitalized. Their lives are not in danger. Investigators say they were infected by yellow water in the plumbing. Their symptoms included nausea, vomiting and high fever.
